Oliver Deed is a communications and engagement practitioner with over 10 years of experience in both the UK and Australia. His knowledge of public and political relations as well as his expertise in various forms of communication provide him with the tools to design innovative solutions for a range of projects. He has worked on small and large scale residential and infrastructure projects across London, the UK, Sydney and Australia.
Kathy Jones is one of Australia’s leading strategic communications and engagement advisors, known for her work to help CEOs, boards and senior management staff manage crises and policy change contexts. Since founding KJA in Australia in 2001, Kathy has provided high level strategic advice, issues management, leadership and project delivery for some of the nation’s major transport and infrastructure projects, including Northern Beaches Hospital and Barangaroo.
Cyra has worked in public relations for over 17 years, focusing on the property and planning sector since 2004. She has extensive experience of devising and implementing consultations in a variety of sectors — including, regeneration, residential, retail, energy, utilities and education – on projects throughout the UK, from small residential schemes to DCO applications. Cyra has an in-depth understanding of the issues associated with development proposals, the ability to communicate complex planning applications to communities, and is highly effective in building positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Jess is an experienced community and stakeholder engagement practitioner, with over 12 years' experience managing engagement and consultation projects in the property, energy, retail, infrastructure and public sectors. Jess has a particular passion for using online tools to involve a broader audience in decision making, and reaching the silent majority. Jess’s specialisms are community and stakeholder auditing, consultation strategy, event management and facilitation, and reporting and analysis. She holds a degree in communication, with a background in PR and marketing.
Debbie is an experienced Operations Manager with over 20 years’ experience developing, evaluating and putting in place operational measures to make a company successful. Debbie specialises in promoting company growth, preparing financial budgets & targets and executing plans designed to meet company goals. Her career started in Central Government in the early 1990s, studying Business Management, Counter Fraud Management and Counter Fraud Intelligence at University of Portsmouth.
Kevin Rye is an engagement and Public Relations practitioner with over 15 years experience in the UK and Europe in football and infrastructure development. He is widely recognised as an expert in Fan Engagement in football. He is also experienced in public affairs, policy development & implementation at all levels, giving him a wide-spectrum of approaches to problem solving. He has a Diploma in PR and is an accredited practitioner with the CIPR, and a fellow of the RSA because of his work in Fan Engagement in football.
Katria is a social media savvy specialist. She is experienced in delivering a high level of communications and content, digitally. Results-driven, with a background in graphic design, PR and marketing, she combines creative flair, and narrative techniques to build long-lasting relationships from consumer to brand.
Rory is a recent graduate who is already well versed in communications and PR within the planning and development sector. His prior experience working in politics and knowledge of the planning process allows him to help navigate the obstacles facing development across the UK. He specialises in writing, research and analysis and holds a degree in politics from Newcastle University
John Parrott is a community and stakeholder engagement consultant with 15 years experience working on major transport and infrastructure projects. He lives in Cambridge, has previously worked in New Zealand, and for the past few years has been working on projects in London including Crossrail, the London 2012 Games and HS2. John specialises in mediation and conflict resolution, equalities issues, corporate communications, legislative and consent processes, implementing measures to mitigate construction impacts, events management and political engagement.
